Privacy Policy

App: ABC Letter Meadow (Lithuanian: ABC Raidelių pieva)  ·  Last updated: May 29, 2026

In short: ABC Letter Meadow is made for young children. It has no ads, no accounts, no sign-in, and no third-party advertising or analytics. We do not collect personal information from your child. All learning content (sounds and graphics) runs offline on the device. The only data ever sent off the device is what is strictly needed to process and restore an optional one-time in-app purchase.

1. Who we are

This app is published by MB Smiltis ("we", "us"), the studio behind smiltis.art. This Privacy Policy explains how the ABC Letter Meadow / ABC Raidelių pieva mobile application handles information. It applies specifically to this app and, where it differs, takes precedence over our general studio privacy policy.

2. Information we do NOT collect

The app does not collect, request, or store any of the following:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details.
  • Location data (precise or approximate).
  • Photos, videos, microphone recordings, contacts, calendar, or files.
  • Advertising identifiers or any data used for behavioural advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • Usage analytics, browsing history, or profiles of your child.

The app contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs.

3. Information processed for optional in-app purchases

The app is free to use. Parents may choose to make a single optional one-time purchase ("Unlock Everything") from a parent-gated screen. If — and only if — you choose to do so, a small amount of purchase-related data is processed by our service providers to complete and later restore that purchase:

  • Purchase / transaction history (e.g. which product was purchased and whether it is active).
  • A randomly generated, app-specific identifier together with the standard store identifiers used by Apple/Google, so the purchase can be validated and restored on your device(s).

We do not receive your name, email, or payment-card details — payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases and entitlements are managed for us by our infrastructure provider RevenueCat, Inc., which processes the above data on our behalf as a service provider, solely to operate, validate, restore, and protect purchases against fraud. To enable restore-purchases and to detect whether a purchase already exists, the app checks this status with RevenueCat when it starts.

4. Information stored only on your device

Preferences such as the chosen language, difficulty level, and whether the app has been unlocked are saved in the app's local storage on your device only. This information never leaves the device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

5. Fonts and content delivery

Depending on the released version, the app may load a display font from Google Fonts. When this happens, your device's IP address is transmitted to Google in order to deliver the font; Google does not receive any other information from the app and the request is not used to identify your child. We are progressively bundling all fonts directly inside the app so that no such request is made. The app's educational sounds and images are stored inside the app and require no internet connection.

6. Children's privacy (COPPA, UK/EU GDPR, Google Play Families Policy)

This app is designed for children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation provisions relating to children, and the Google Play Families Policy and Apple Kids Category requirements.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  • We do not show third-party ads and do not use data for behavioural advertising.
  • Purchases are placed behind a parental gate so that they cannot be initiated by a child alone.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your choices, parental rights, and data deletion

Because we do not maintain accounts or collect personal data, there is normally nothing personal to access or delete. You can clear all on-device data at any time by uninstalling the app. If you would like us to delete any purchase records associated with your installation, you may request this by contacting us using the details in Section 10, and we will action it (including, where applicable, via our provider RevenueCat).

8. Data security and retention

All purchase-related data transmitted off the device is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Purchase records are retained by our service providers only for as long as needed to operate and restore purchases and to meet legal, tax, and anti-fraud obligations.

9. International processing

Our service providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) may process purchase data on servers located in the European Union, the United States, or other countries, with appropriate safeguards in place.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app or store listing.
